Delhi : Every cricket fan is eagerly waiting for the Border Gavaskar Trophy to be held between India and Australia at the end of the year. Speaking to Alyssa Healy on the Willow Talk podcast, Lyon said, “It has been 10 years since we won the Border Gavaskar Trophy. I started thinking about this series when England was playing in India. I love Test cricket and I hope to see a great Test match, but I have my eyes on this series for a long time. My prediction is that Australia is going to win 5-0.”
Batsmen need to score big
Lyon also gave a message to the Australian batsmen to score big against the Indian bowling lineup. He said, “We have to score big runs. We need batsmen who can score big, like Steve Smith, Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head, who are all top order batsmen. I don’t want 101 or 107, but 180 and 200.”
