Actually, both the players were seen giving an interview before the first test match against Bangladesh starting on Thursday. The trailer of this interview went viral on social media very fast, and a discussion started about it in the cricket world.
In the video shared by BCCI, the conversation between Gambhir and Kohli was full of happiness, laughter, memories and passion for each other’s game. When the interview was about to end, Gambhir told that he would next talk to Indian captain Rohit Sharma. Apart from this, the head coach asked Virat if he had any questions for Rohit, and during this Virat asked some funny questions for Rohit.
Virat asked Rohit a funny question
Gambhir: The next guest will be Rohit Sharma, so what do you want me to ask Rohit? What should be the first question to him?
Kohli: I think this is a very simple question for Rohit – do you eat soaked almonds in the morning or not?
Gambhir: Eleven o’clock at night instead of eleven in the morning?
Kohli: Yes, be careful, AM should not become PM… then this will be the question for you.
Virat and Rohit can play till 2027
It is worth noting that Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma together have announced their retirement from T20 international cricket after winning the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title. Now both these players will be seen representing India only in ODIs and Test cricket. 35-year-old Virat Kohli and 37-year-old Rohit Sharma will now probably continue to play till the 2027 ODI World Cup, after which their international career can be considered to be over.
