Delhi : The Board of Control for Cricket in India has shared a video clip of a conversation between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir, in which both are seen interviewing each other. In this video, they share old memories, ask questions and also have fun. BCCI has written in the caption of this clip – “A very special interview. Stay tuned to know how great cricket minds work.” This conversation between Team India’s head coach Gautam Gambhir and Virat Kohli is a freewheeling discussion never seen before.
What was the conversation between the two giants
Gambhir started the conversation by recalling some important moments of his career. He mentioned Kohli’s brilliant performance in Australia and asked how important that moment was for him. In a video shared by BCCI, Gambhir recalled the experience of the memorable Test played in Napier and said, “I remember, you had a bumper series in Australia. You scored a lot of runs there and got into that zone. When I played in Napier, I had a similar experience. Since then I have never been able to reach that zone. So I can understand how wonderful that feeling is.”
Virat Kohli’s funny question
Gambhir immediately made a funny comment on Kohli, saying that Kohli has faced more on-field fights in his career than him. Gambhir laughed and said, “I have had fewer fights than you. You can answer this question better.” After this both of them started laughing. Then Kohli said, “I am looking for someone who agrees with my views. I am not saying that this is wrong, but I want someone to say, yes, this is the right way.”
