Delhi : On 9th July, former Indian cricketer and part of the T20 World Cup 2007 and Cricket World Cup 2011 winning Indian team, Gautam Gambhir has been appointed as the new head coach of the Indian cricket team. Gambhir has replaced former coach Rahul Dravid in Team India.
Before taking charge of the Indian team, he mentored the Kolkata Knight Riders in IPL 2024, where the team won the title for the third time. Earlier, under the captaincy of Gambhir, KKR won the title in the years 2012 and 2014.
What did Harsha Bhogle say about Gambhir?
Recently, Harsha Bhogle, while talking to Talk Sport, said about Gautam Gambhir that he is a bit misunderstood because of his body language as he seems very aggressive.
He said that it seems as if he is always ready to get into controversy. But his record as a leader is very good in India, and those who play under Gambhir’s leadership respect him a lot.
Bhogle further said that there is a strong personality behind Gambhir, which has been proven not only here but also in India. He believes that when India plays against Australia in a five-match Test series, it will be a real test for Gambhir.
